What some TAMS users have to say...
I’m writing to express my satisfaction with both your company and product. We implemented TAMS in August of this year since then have been able to document the following improvements to our business: 1. 12% increase in month to month revenues. TAMS calculates all of the savings that should be included in our fees accurately. Prior to implementation all of our billing was accomplished through manual efforts. We were not billing for those additional savings created with lower taxes, fees, surcharges, and the minimum and fractional billing of usage. TAMS made this easy and PROFITABLE!!! This improvement alone not only justifies the investment but actually generated triple the monthly software cost in additional revenue. 2. 75% decrease in time to create invoices. We are currently billing about 60 clients each month. Prior to implementation billing required about 2 full days to produce the statements and bill our clients. That time has been reduced to about 4 hours for the same work. This productivity gain translates into a return of about 150 hours annually that we have redirected to our sales and client care activities. 3. Analysis and recommendation productivity gains. Analysis and recommendations must be completed and returned to the client in a timely fashion. TAMS has enabled us to complete analysis and produce accurate recommendations much faster. This translates into a lower labor cost per client and a reduced time to client billing for our firm. We appreciate your customer care and excellent technical support. I’ve been using TAMS since March of 2005 and it has dramatically improved my ability to do client cost-savings analysis quickly, efficiently and accurately. The program has tremendous flexibility so that it works well for clients with a complex telecommunications infrastructure, with multiple locations and a myriad of different services, or with smaller clients who have basic services.
The time it now takes me to do a savings analysis and recommendation report or to do monthly billings is a fraction of the time that I used to spend. I’m also very confident that the analysis and billings are accurate because there are several simple “sanity” checks that can be performed to verify the new optimized savings versus the original baseline costs.
Cellular services was introduced with the latest software release of TAMS, and now cellular phones can be analyzed for savings with the same flexibility and efficiency as with landline service. Even the most complex cellular scenarios--users with multiple carriers and many different plans-- can be accommodated. I’ve finally found a solution that removes the complexity of doing cellular analysis yet is accurate and easy to use.
Technical support is exceptionally good and the level of attention that I receive as well as the quick resolution to my questions has been outstanding. Software upgrades and fixes are released frequently so that the product is constantly improving with new features and added functionality.
TAMS does exactly what it’s designed to do: provide an easy yet powerful tool for telecommunications professionals to do analysis, recommend cost savings and bill for savings.
The product has allowed me to find thousands of additional dollars of savings that I simply wouldn’t have realized using my previous telecom analysis tools. I can’t be more appreciative of the product and the user support.

"Prior to TAMS, I used an array of Excel spreadsheets to manage clients and their telecommunication configurations and costs. The need to track discrete configuration changes in terms of time and cost was complex and tedious but critically important for projecting reliable cost savings as well as performing accurate accounting of real savings. It has been several months that I have been using TAMS for my telecommunication consulting and management services firm Optimized Communications. By reflecting Telephone Company billing, call detail and customer service record information in its forms and data structures, TAMS provides a reality based and easy to follow model for the analysis, cost savings determinations, and management of telecommunication services of clients. TAMS is, nonetheless, a sophisticated software, handling complex telecom analysis tasks and supporting services for telecom consultants. Complicated customer set ups (e.g., having different PICs and LPICs for some lines within the same account with consequent accounting of the monthly usage charges) can be entered and modelled in a straight forward manner in TAMS. Handling each of those cases with spreadsheets would be much more difficult, time consuming, and, therefore, error prone. TAMS can provide substantial boost to a telecom analyst’s productivity. With its sophisticated, yet straight forward, manner of handling telecommunication service provider plans and billings, TAMS can be used easily to identify savings in areas that it would otherwise be tough for an analyst to determine. Identification of billing errors (which TAMS does by comparing every single charge with what that charge should be, based on the supplier plan) and accurate determination of cost savings on taxes and surcharges between different plans are some of those areas. So, for telecom cost reductions and the related consultants’ contingency services, TAMS is a revenue enhancing tool. Kris, I can mention a lot more about the benefits of TAMS, but the most satisfying and (to me) valuable part of my experience as a new user of TAMS has been your personal collegial support in answering all of my questions and requests and helping me get up to speed with using this valuable tool. You have set a new standard for customer help and service which will be hard to match by others.
